George Fox University
George Fox University is a Christian university of the arts, sciences, and professional studies. Founded in 1891, the university has a well-established tradition of excellence in higher education. Nestled in the lush valley of the Willamette River, the 75-acre campus rests among century-old farms, beautiful vineyards and dense woodlands. The university is located in a safe, residential area of a small town with a population of 20,000 people. Arching oak trees shade the green lawns and flowering shrubs. A blend of historic buildings and modern facilities reflects the heritage and vision of the university. The location of campus provides access to the Cascade Mountains and the Oregon Coast. Portland, the cultural and business center of Oregon, is only 20 miles away.
George Fox University is fully accredited by the Northwest Association of Schools and Colleges, the National Association of Schools of Music and the American Psychological Association.
