At COBA Academy, our primary mission is to deliver the skills and knowledge necessary to pass the State Board Cosmetology Examination. With the highest pass rate of any beauty college in southern California (94%), we are extremely proud of our success in this endeavor. But there is more to COBA than just the basics.
We are also dedicated to providing our graduates with expertise well beyone the State License requirements. We want graduates to be “heads and shoulders” above those who graduate from other colleges. That’s why we created our exclusive “Above & Beyond” Program. Taught by our own staff and outside experts, the program offers a great variety of learning experiences not offered elsewhere.
