American University of Antigua (AUA) is proud to announce the opening of its School of Nursing. The program is unique and should be especially attractive to U.S. citizens who want to practice nursing in the United States, as well as those in the Caribbean region who are interested in pursuing a nursing career. The AUA School of Nursing offers you options. Earning your ASN and RN qualifies you to enter the Lehman College Nursing Program (CUNY) to earn a BSN which is accredited by the Nursing Accrediting Commission NLNAC; the most recognized accrediting body in the nursing field. ASN and BSN nurses make more money and have more career choices. The National Advisory Council on Nurse Education and Practice (NACNEP) has recommended that by 2010 at least two-thirds of all registered nurses hold baccalaureate or higher degrees. While attending AUA School of Nursing, you will have be learning from a world-class faculty that will help you achieve the tools it takes to excel in today's demanding field of nursing.
